Link Logistics CEO Highlights CoreGiving Day on NBC 5 Chicago and NYSE Live
Link Logistics CEO Luke J. Petherbridge recently appeared on NBC 5 Chicago and NYSE Live to discuss CoreGiving, the nonprofit he co-founded to fight childhood hunger, and its annual global day of service, CoreGiving Day. CoreGiving was also featured on the NYSE Times Square billboard.
On NBC 5 Chicago, Petherbridge shared how the sixth annual CoreGiving Day brought people together around a common goal. On October 1, Link Logistics teams volunteered alongside colleagues from Blackstone and 29 portfolio companies across five continents, helping enable access to nutritious meals for children and families in their communities.
On NYSE Live, Petherbridge explained why he co-founded CoreGiving, Link Logistics’ marquee nonprofit partner to address childhood food insecurity. Since its inception, CoreGiving has helped fund more than 100 million meals for families and food banks nationwide.
The NYSE Live conversation also covered what CoreGiving Day looks like on the ground and how Blackstone’s portfolio companies participate alongside Link Logistics. Petherbridge discussed why food insecurity—and investing in kids’ ability to learn, grow and reach their full potential—has become a cornerstone of the company’s community commitment.
