Luke Petherbridge Joins Bloomberg Intelligence’s "Talking Transports" Podcast

Link Logistics CEO Luke Petherbridge recently joined Bloomberg Intelligence senior freight transportation and logistics analyst Lee Klaskow on the "Talking Transports" podcast to discuss the state of industrial real estate, economic trends shaping the industry and the role warehouses play in supporting supply chains.
 
During the conversation, Petherbridge shared how Link Logistics’ portfolio of nearly 500 million square feet provides visibility into freight flows, supply chain activity and broader market dynamics. He also highlighted several factors driving demand for industrial real estate, including continued e-commerce growth, expanding domestic manufacturing investment and growing demand connected to data center development.
 
“The proliferation of e-commerce continues to be a growth lever. We are now starting to see onshoring and nearshoring impacts with almost a trillion dollars of announced factories throughout the United States. And more recently, with the data center boom, spillover demand is really starting to happen,” Petherbridge said. 
 
The discussion also explored how technology is influencing both warehouse operations and supply chain decision making. Petherbridge described how Link Logistics uses data and insights to better serve customers and identify long-term growth opportunities across its network.
 
In addition to industry trends, Petherbridge discussed CoreGiving, Link Logistics’ marquee nonprofit partner he co-founded to address food insecurity. Today, the program brings together thousands of volunteers around the world from Blackstone and 30 of its portfolio companies to support local hunger-relief organizations.
