Life at Link Logistics: ‘The Best Work Environment I’ve Experienced in My Entire Career’

Link Logistics' Property Management team keeps people safe and properties in top shape across its national portfolio of warehouses and distribution centers.

Associate director Keith Parry brings more than 16 years of financial expertise to Link Logistics' Property Management team in Orlando. Read on to learn about his journey from finance to industrial real estate, his path to earning the "MBA of property management," and what makes managing warehouse and distribution facilities across Central Florida meaningful to him.

Where are you based and what’s your role at Link Logistics?

Keith: I'm based in Orlando as an associate director on the Property Management team. I joined Link Logistics in 2021 as a senior property manager in Miami and moved to Orlando in 2023 when I transitioned to my current position managing industrial properties in that market.

What’s the difference between managing logistics real estate in Miami versus Orlando?

Keith: The traffic in Miami is on a whole different level—Orlando is much better in comparison. There’s also a lot more green spaces here, which makes the environment feel more relaxing. I still remember my first day of work: I stopped by a coffee shop before heading to the office, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. It really made me feel like I had made the right decision to move to Orlando.

How did you transition from finance into industrial real estate and property management?

Keith: I began my career in finance and financial services. I have a degree in economics and worked in the finance industry for 16 years. But I wasn't truly happy since I never got to see the impact of my work. Then, in 2014, my mother passed away. I'm her only child, and she was my best friend. That loss made me realize how short life is.

Around that time, I had a conversation with a friend who worked in real estate as an asset manager in Florida. He said, "You'd make a great property manager. You have a strong financial background, which is a huge asset." That conversation inspired me to pursue a new path in industrial property management.

One thing that's always been important to me is the promise I made to my mom that I would earn an MBA. I always said I would pursue it, but life got in the way.

I earned my CPM (Certified Property Manager) certification in 2023. During my research, I discovered that the CPM is often referred to as the "MBA of property management," which meant I'd fulfilled my promise to my mom.

What do you enjoy most about working at Link Logistics?

Keith: I absolutely love my team of industrial real estate professionals at Link Logistics. I have the best boss and leadership team above me—Luci Smith, Wes Vaughan and Glenn Wylie. My team is unique, impactful and brings so much to the table. I genuinely enjoy working with each of my colleagues. This is the best work environment I've experienced in my entire career, both from a senior leadership and team perspective.
