Link Logistics president and chief investment officer Nicholas L. Pell shared his perspective on leadership, key trends in industrial real estate and the firm’s unique capabilities in a pair of recent interviews with NAIOP.
In conversation with Development, a quarterly magazine published by NAIOP, Pell discussed topics including Link Logistics’ culture and his own management style.
“My leadership philosophy revolves around serving the people I lead,” he said. “I always strive to make my team feel that I am working for them rather than the other way around. This approach promotes a sense of responsibility and ownership among the team members. It also creates a feeling of unity, where we all work together and move in the same direction. I believe that anything less than this approach is inauthentic.”
The full interview can be found on Page 28 of Development magazine’s Winter 2023/2024 issue.
In a separate interview with NAIOP’s “Inside CRE” podcast, Pell offered a more detailed look at Link Logistics’ investment strategy and operations, discussing the state of the industrial real estate market, the firm’s approach to development, and how emerging technology such as AI is transforming the sector.
“We’re hiring some of the smartest people from different walks of life to help us think about how to critically analyze data and translate it into better performance in terms of what we own and how we operate it.”
