Industry’s first-of-its-kind energy and utility management program allows in-house experts to deliver a variety of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions to customers

Data-driven offering reflects Link Logistics’ focus on practical, innovative sustainability initiatives powered by the firm’s national scale

New York – December 12, 2023 – Link Logistics (“Link” or the “Company”), the largest U.S.-only owner and operator of last-mile industrial real estate, today announced the launch of Energy Solutions, the Company’s comprehensive energy and utility management program. Through Energy Solutions, Link Logistics customers will have the opportunity to leverage a team of seasoned in-house energy, utility and sustainability experts to deliver a suite of fully managed data-driven initiatives at the property level with the goal of delivering energy savings for customers.

“Link Logistics’ scale and access to capital allow us to deploy pioneering, customer-focused sustainability initiatives, like Energy Solutions, which generate real value for our customers by saving them both time and money,” said Luke J. Petherbridge, chief executive officer, Link Logistics. “Sustainability is central to our business and we are committed to partnering with our customers to create novel solutions that achieve our common decarbonization goals.”

Link Logistics’ dedicated team of energy specialists will guide participating customers through a three-phased approach—measure, reduce and offset—to ensure that maximum savings are harvested throughout the program lifecycle. Customers interested in the program will transition their utility accounts to Link Logistics, allowing the Energy Solutions team to perform energy data diagnostics and recommend energy conservation measures. In addition, Energy Solutions insulates customers from fluctuating energy prices due to Link Logistics’ industry-leading power hedging program. Informed by energy data insights, Link Logistics will provide customized sustainability solutions to customers, such as renewable energy offerings, to help them decrease their energy use and minimize their carbon footprints.

“Energy Solutions challenges the traditional industrial real estate operating model,” said Sam Stockdale, senior vice president, head of Sustainability, Link Logistics. “By creating a leading utilities management core competency within Link Logistics, we aim to become our customers’ partner of choice by leveraging energy data at scale to reduce their utility expenses while tailoring energy and sustainability products best-suited to achieving their objectives.”

As of today, Energy Solutions is available to more than 2,500 Link Logistics customers through the Company’s digital customer platform, Link+. Link Logistics intends to scale the program over time to deliver increased value to all participating customers.
