Link Signs Letter Urging U.S. Senate to Pass Gun Safety Legislation

New York – June 9, 2022 – CEO Luke Petherbridge and more than 220 other senior leaders from companies across the country have sent a letter to the U.S. Senate calling for meaningful measures to prevent gun violence.

“The idea behind this campaign is to urge members of the Senate to pass much-needed legislation,” Luke said. “As a father of young children, I am horrified by what took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, as well as the racially motivated mass shooting at the Tops Market in Buffalo, New York. I simply cannot imagine what the families and loved ones of the victims are going through.”

The letter that has been sent to Senate offices is available on the CEOs for Gun Safety website—and earlier today Axios posted an exclusive story on the effort.  “It’s a proud day to be a Linker,” said Melissa Sachs, SVP, Communications. “Together, Luke and these 220+ other CEOs are using their collective platform and voice to stand up and call for real change.”
