Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is a leading operator of warehouses and business parks, specializing in last-mile logistics real estate. Established by Blackstone in 2019, the company connects consumption, technology, and the supply chain across its portfolio, which spans half a billion square feet. We leverage our scale, proprietary data and insights, and foundational focus on sustainability to drive success for our customers’ businesses and deliver value for our stakeholders. We put our people, customers, and communities first and find ways to make a conscious, positive impact where we live and work. Every day, we work to reinvent and lead our industry forward by thinking bigger and challenging the status quo.
Link Logistics is seeking an experienced Principal Business Analyst to support product management for our Accounting, Treasury, and Social Impact teams. This is a senior role at the center of our finance technology team. They serve as the primary liaison between Accounting, Treasury, and Social Impact stakeholders and the broader technology ecosystem, including Core IT, Architecture, Link Data Platform, governance committees, and external vendors. Key responsibilities include defining new product features, configuring and customizing SaaS platforms, specifying multi-system integration requirements, and managing vendor relationships from implementation onward. This person also contributes ideas to the product management team's short- and long-term roadmaps.
Who You Are:
Knowledgeable & Analytical. Your background combines Accounting, Finance, and Treasury with Technology, and you're comfortable with financial concepts, including a full-cycle monthly close in real estate. Gathering requirements, analyzing data, solving problems, documenting processes, and finding ways to improve them all come naturally to you.
Technology Skills. SQL queries, relational database concepts, and picking up new software quickly are second nature. You know how data moves between systems through integrations and APIs.
Versatile & Tactical. You can step into any project across Accounting, Treasury, or Social Impact and get up to speed fast, moving easily between business and technical conversations, translating needs into requirements, managing vendors, and working through architecture reviews. This means consulting rather than just executing: listening well, asking the right questions, pushing back when something doesn't add up, and keeping stakeholders confident even when things move slowly.
Strong Communicator. Stakeholders stay informed proactively and consistently, and conversations come easily at every level, inside and outside the company. Clear communication is what keeps projects on time and on budget.
Organized & Disciplined. Documentation isn't optional. Clear records and traceable decisions are a matter of habit, not an afterthought.
Passionate. Driven by our Core Competencies of Customer Focus, Instills Trust, Collaborates, and Drives Results, you're resourceful, ask smart questions, challenge the status quo, and genuinely want to understand how things work. Relationships and institutional knowledge get built over time: knowing how Link is structured, how decisions get made, and who the right people are for any situation.
What You'll Do:
Lead requirements gathering with business partners and translate needs into technical specs for implementation.
Manage vendor relationships across the project lifecycle: evaluating solutions, navigating architecture and governance reviews, testing functionality, and tracking results after go-live.
Own application backlogs: documenting requests, prioritizing with business partners, and writing test cases.
Write SQL and analyze datasets to spot trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Build and execute test plans for system changes, validating against requirements and tracking results.
Partner with Tech Support to troubleshoot reported issues, reconciling data discrepancies and fixing root causes.
Evaluate new technology and upgrades, present new features to business partners, and build training and support documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science. Business analysis or project management experience preferred.
7 to 10 years of relevant Accounting, Finance, Treasury, business analysis, or consulting experience.
Strong skills in requirements gathering, data analysis, conceptual thinking, problem solving, customer focus, work management, relationship building, and written and verbal communication.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks at once, start to finish.
Required experience with Yardi and real estate technology; experience with treasury management software, Workiva, Power BI, Claude, and Copilot is a nice to have.
